Payment Processor:  Integrating with Authorize.net or Stripe to mediaOS

For your convenience, mediaOS offers two payment processors; Authorize.net and Stripe. Please read this article carefully to understand the steps and intricacies involved in integrating your preferred payment processor with mediaOS.

  • An account must be established at Authorize.net or Stripe prior to integration.
  • Please note that all transactions are processed solely through the payment processor of your choice. Ad Sales Genius has no visibility of transaction errors or system issues.
  • Integrating payment processors is not required in mediaOS, it simply allows you to take payments through the system.
  • Once integrated, DO NOT change Authorize.net accounts. This will cause payment failures and loss of saved credit cards. The mediaOS support team is unable to assist if this action is taken. Please do not change payment processor accounts.
  • Why choose Authorize.net? You can take ACH payments and save on credit card fees. Additionally, many other payment systems sync with Authorize.net to keep all your information in mediaOS.
  • Why choose Stripe? Stripe is cheaper than Authorize.net. While they’re quick, they can only run credit cards because their API integration won’t let mediaOS take ACH payments through them.

Once you have decided on your payment processor of your choice, follow these easy steps to integrate: 🎥Where to find Payment Processor Integrations

  1. Click on your account at the bottom of the left menu.
  2. Click Integrations.
  3. Search for Authorize.net or Stripe.
  4. Click Configure.
  5. Enter your username and password for your Authorize.net or Stripe account to finalize the integration process.

💡Authorize.net Tips:

  • Integrating Authorize.net allows you to save credit cards, save bank accounts, turn on auto-pays.
  • Please ensure you have CIM (Customer Information Manager) activated in Authorize.net. This is required to process credit cards via mediaOS.
  • We do not support Authorize.net Fraud Detection Services. You will need to manage this externally on mediaOS.
